Our site is aimed at providing you with straight forward contact details and information about what goes on in Short Mat Bowls in Suffolk. Suffolk games are played at Meadlands Indoor Bowls Club, Stowmarket, IP14 2AD  Short Mat Bowls began in Suffolk in 1985 and we are affiliated to the national body, English Short Mat Bowling Association (ESMBA). There are 15 clubs registered with Suffolk this season (2024/25), playing in two leagues, Ipswich & District League, and Waveney League. For more details click on the League Tables tab. The county also enters a team in the Inter County Competition (ICC) playing home and away fixtures against Northamptonshire, Cambridgeshire, and Norfolk in the group stage, going on to play other counties in the knock-out stages according to their group position.
